saying I want a good tube amp is kinda like saying I want a good car. there are so many out there, and everyone has different opinions on what is the best. Narrow your choices down. such as above or below 50 watts, combo or head, for gigs or home use, how versitile? , metal/rock/clean , tubes and speakers can change tone a lot
I say the boy ain't right!

          Carvin v3

Dont pay $3000 for an amp. Get the v3 and another guitar too

            +1

Great deal and easy to dial in great tone on all three channels. No reverb, but it sounded so good without - it was one of the swaying factors for me.

i'm a fan of most carvin stuff but not the v3. the legacy is waaay better.

It's too bad the Legacy doesn't have a *hair* more gain, else I'd lust after one. Thankfully, the MTS does what I want, so that's next on the list.
