This tiny purple pedal is called a wah rocker. Some people call it an envelope filter and others call it an auto-wah. Basically.. its for the lazy type (like me) who sometimes doesn't want to be standing on a wah pedal on stage. Now don't get me wrong... wah pedals are awesome and very expressive.
Now.. on to the review.
The pedal is made well. Its tiny. It came with a velcro type base so it sticks to the rug excellent. The button is high quality and it doesn't pop when you step on it. The pedal is extremely quiet. I can barely notice its even on until I start playing. It has 2 controls, Threshold and decay.
They work just like the heel toe on a regular wah except instead of rocking the wah back and forth, you vary the wah with your picking technique. The harder you pick.. the more toe you get. Pick lightly and you get more heal.
The pedal sounds fantastic both clean and dirty. At first I thought it sounded like canned ass until I realized the battery was just about dead in it. You need to put this pedal in front of your amp.
I give it a 9.0 when compared to other auto-wahs.
