Sure, no problem. What kink of music do you play? I'll try to keep it in mind when I demo it. I play mostly old school metal, but also a lot of classic rock and blues. If this thing sounds like the F-series with as much gain, I think I'll be sold.
I'd be very interested in your impressions of them.
Hope you can post a review...

Well, I just test drove the 5:25 as they didn't have the 50W version. Tonally it sounds the same as the F-series to me. Great "Fendery" cleans, IMO, and a good rock crunch on channel one. Some nice blues tones, especially with the neck pup, and a hellacious distortion on channel two. You could play anything from jazz to Metallica on this thing. If you haven't heard the F-series, then you have to go and play one of these. This line has it's own thing going on, really.
The 5 watt feature is really cool. It lets you open up the master a little more and tightens up the sound a bit. The added contour controls let you tame those shrill highs that you get with the F-series, which is mainly why I got rid of my F-30. The mode switches kinda makes it into a psuedo 4-channel amp. I could really hear the gain kick in going from blues to burn ont ch2.
This was the combo version with the 10" speaker, although it sounds more like a 12". I would say it's an F-series with stepped up features. I only wish the modes were footswitchable, but that's the only con I could find.
I still think the notes are a little too "round" for my taste, and I think I've gotten used the sound of my Mark IV, but if I were to get another amp, I would definitely get this combo. Considering the price, you get great tone and added bonus features.

They're out at a few dealers. Discounts seem to be available on the F series with many dealers. Perhaps Mesa authorized the price reduction to make room for the Express amps that are shipping.
The Express looks great, but if you like the tone of them you might be able to find a very similar F series for substantially less.

This is exactly what I'm telling my buddy that's looking for a new amp. I have a feeling there's going to be a shitload of them dumped on the bay.
I think an eq pedal plus an F-series will get you the same results at probably half the price. The Express is cool though, but you won't be able to find 'em used at a good price for awhile.
Oh, I forgot to mention that the effects loop is now serial, which was one of my gripes with the F-series. If buying new, the Express is definitely the way to go.
