Cool man. Have fun with your new amp. Modeling amps are fun as hell. I owned the Vox Ad120VTX and loved it. I thought it sounded fantastic on almost every single thing.

Line 6 makes some unique sounding stuff.

Wow I am amazed that people are actually passing congrats to a guy who just bought a spider on this forum. By this time on the UG forum, the guy would have been literally humiliated and tortured to death for buying a spider. Nice to know that I am now amongst people who appreciate other people's tastes.

If that's what people on the UG forum do I'm damn glad I don't post there.

Yeah, most of them dont know what they are talking about. They just jump on the wagon and start praising or criticising as the case may be.

awesome. been trying to help my friend sell the 212 version of that, so i've had it at my place for a bit.
i've owned plenty (the lady says too many) high ticket amps and i think it's a great little amp!

I am thinking about getting the 1x12 version of this amp or the 3, not really sure of the differences? Anyway, what is the UG forum? Jack.

This phenomenon has been fully and scientifically documented back in 2004.

^ LOL. UG is the ultimate-guitar forum. Its not all that bad. There are a few "informative" people. But its mostly comprised of kids who dont know what the heck they are talking about. Its mostly advice like "get the pedal. I've heard a lot of good comments about it" or "dont get that pedal. it suck I've heard".

On this whole idea of giving people a hard time for buying a Spider...

I'd rather see somebody buy a Spider and play the hell out of it then hear about some collector grabbing a Splawn and letting it collect dust in his closet. Everybody's got a budget and requirements for their amp, and you've gotta do the best within those factors that you can.

If I would have job (I just turned 18) I would have more money ...and I would buy a better amp...
But, I have purchased this amp from the money I got through giving
guitar instructions, help my grandmother, save up..(no dinner in school, and no drinks after school...)...

And I think that I care more about this amp because I worked quite hard to get the money...
                          Same as for the guitar...

I think Nazgul knows what I`m talking about...
Cause he did the same for his guitars...
