I played a few Spirder II's adn always though they sounded rather fizy and lacked mid's, the III's however are very good amps and I quite like all the player presets aswell as the song presets CFH and cliffs of dover...

The Spider II's have good cleans and crunch I just found on the High gain channels they always seemed to soudn scooped adn thin no matter what the EQ setting, My house mate has one so when I'm back at collage i'll play around with it to see if I still think this...

Still I think theyve made a big impovement with the Spider III's, allthough when you wait and work hard to get something you apprecciate it much more...

I gave my spider II a 8.5/10 for the sound...
Today I give it a 9.5/10 for the sound..
You must play with the EQ to get the sound you want...
        ... ;D
