I have an AKG WMS unit. It's pretty cheap and, like stated above, unless you're on a pro level, it does the job.
I had a Nady before that but it felt lifeless.
Does anyone have any data on the rumor that the frequencies that instrument wireless classically work on (the UHF ones) will in the coming years be designated for some other technology and suffer interference issues as to render them useless? I had heard this. Maybe I even read it on the JCF. It's worth checking on before you lay down the dead presidents.
I've used it at several rehearsals now and it is working great. I've had no problems at all - I'm not having any tone or signal problems at all. Of course the true test will be at a gig - considering we just switched drummers that's going to be a while.
I really like that the receiver can sit comfortably on a pedal board - no antennas and it runs off of a standard 9VDC power supply so I can run it with my Pedal Power 2.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.
