  • Used 5150 price???

I got a line on some dude who has had a full stack sitting in his basement for over 10 years...His friend say he is sure he will let it go because it hasn't been used in that time and he needs cash...:OD

I mostly want the bottom cab to go with my XXX and G-Flex...Tried this out and it is a killer set up. I can get rid of the head and top cab to my drummer...Not sure I'll want to...Could make my money back if I get it at a good price...Someone wants to buy my current POS 4x12 too.

Can't find anything on e-bay to refer to so any help is apperciated...

I'd avoid buying the cab. I wouldn't pay more than $600 for the head. You can get newer 6505s for about $700.

So $850 for the full stack seems like a good price then! Thanx!

Maybe it wouldn't be too bad... you could get a quote to see. Hey, if it cost $20 more than US shipping but you negotiated a good price on the head the net cost might still be good for you.

Of course I know that it'd be an impulse buy for you, John, but it'd give you a chance to see if your 422A still works!

Actually, after hearing (I think it was DD3kegs? or some name like that) with an OD pedal in front, I thought it sounded more brutal than what we'd done with the 422... He definitely smoked what I'd done, and I thought I'd wrung that amp out. I don't recall if I ever ran a pedal through one really. So much gain on the amp, I think it never "really" came to mind.

The guy didn't get back to me...Instead of just saying..."Not for sale" he got his g/f to keep putting me off...Our manager is trying to get us free shit so...I'll see if she comes through.
