  • Racktifier review and porn!

Ok, to make a long story short...this thing kills any other amp I've ever played or owned. It's way tighter, clearer, and punches way harder than my 3ch. Recto. I no longer need a boost pedal. My OD9 and OD808 have been collecting dust since I took this thing home. The Gain and Presence are much more useable and there's none of that fizz that the 3ch. has. I've played it through my Mesa Traditional cab w/V30's and my Marshall 1960B w/V30's & 75's and it sounds great though both of them.

I love how simple my setup has become. I'm running an ISP Decimator in front of the amp (when I'm playing with the band) and I run a tuner from the slave out with everything plugged into a Furman PL8II. I just open up the rack case, plug in, and I'm ready to go! Now lets get down to business.....

      Cool!

Q: WHY does the rack still say "Solo Head"?

An excellent display of badassery! I'm wondering how that LTD is compared to the Zakk Wylde Epiphones, if the Epi's HZ's are switched with "proper" EMG's..

Ractifiers are bad ass. As much as I didn't like my 3 channel, I still wish I had its gigantic distortion on tap sometimes. My dream setup would be a ractifier like that one right there, a Mark IV rack mount, and a TC Electronic G Major all in one rack case. It would be one heavy fucking case, though.

That is why i have the same screen name on every board. If you see my screen name more then likely it is me, i am on guitar boards, jeep boards and mustang boards all with the same name.

I don't think I'd remember what name I was on various boards if it was'nt the same everywhere.

                            Cool amp though.

Cool. I saw your review on HC. Still too bad you did not buy my early rectifier R00188.
