Well, this won't be the solution for Marhsall tone, but I would suggest the Mesa Boogie V-Twin through a clean Fender channel would sound very good. I had a JCM 900 and plugged my V-Twin through that amp's clean channel and got some great tone. I had great Marshall AND Boogie tones. You can get good classic rock sounds with that tube preamp pedal.

Oops, I didn't read the entire thread and see that you sold the Fender. As I mentioned above, the V-Twin would allow you to have Marshall & Boogie tones and the Twin also improves the clean channel of the Marshall.
