I sold my G-System because my 6-space rack is being decommissioned. I didn't finish rewiring and configuring my larger rack in time for band practice today. So I busted out my Splawn modded Marshall 1987x and ran it into the pair of 2x12 V30 cabs I had in place for the small rack. I threw a few things on a board - my Bad Horsie Wah, a Tube Screamer, and a Yamaha Magic Stomp for delay and verb. I played my PRS McCarty with the solid rosewood neck.

Holy crap that sounded great. I hadn't fired up the Splawn in a few months. It was just killer. Sustain was fantastic.

I just hope my new rack rig sounds that good

Well, it's not exactly new. It's just being reborn.

* Brunetti Mille (hot rodded Marshall style preamp)
* POD xt Pro
* Switchblade switcher
* VHT 2502

I may swap the Mille for a CAE 3+SE that I also have. And the PODxt Pro will probably be swapped for a Fractal Design Axe-FX.

Nope. I'm on the waiting list. I've spoken to a few folks that have them whose opinions I respect and the concensus is this is a hip unit.
