I wonder what the difference is between the Lee Jackson 100 Watt head and the Metaltronics 100 Watt head? Are these good heads? You hear very little about them on here? are they good for Thrash metal? If so, which one is best? What are his prices like? I am looking for a better made Marshall 2203, but sounding like one. Would these be it? Jack.

I could be wrong but I believe the Metaltronix amps were made in his shop and the Lee Jackson was a production line hone with the help of Wirlwind.

Man, you're not kidding. I remember Metaltronix amps were xtremely sought after. I believe Zakk used and so did Paul Gilbert. Very big in the Shrapnel Records shred hayday. Looks like the "1500" will just be a 2 channel non-programable one, judging by the rendering.

likes Laney? Vai is playing through a Bogner... and in this Vid, i like

Yeah, Paul gilbert started using Laneys in the mid 90's I believe (Don't quote me) but I think the Metaltronix craze died before that. I think he used Metaltronix after the ADA's and before Laney. I have also heard that Steve Vai had the guts of a Bogner in his on-stage Legacy's. I don't know if that's true or not but ...
