  • Adding a headphone jack?

Getting ready to move from my large house in the country to small apartment in the city and trying to decide how to handle my amp situation. I currently use a Peavey Classic 50 212 with some pedals and really like the sound I get. However that is way to much amp for a small apartment. It does not have a headphone jack on it. I was wondering if there is a way to add a head phone jack to my amp or if I just have to buy another amp. Thanks for any input.

It's not quite that easy - even if you had a headphone jack you'd have to account for the load to the speakers.

You might want to look into this - https://taweber.powweb.com/weber/hpa50.htm - but I have no idea if it has any sort of speaker emulation on the headphone tap, how it sounds, etc.

If volume is an issue, it's probably not the best solution. IMO, you'd be better off with a POD or some other modeling device.

Does the Peavey Classics have Fx loops? If it has, just buy a volume box off eBay.
