      .

thanks,i don't have any pictures of it from the shop, but here are some i found,

i can't find anything on its tone, if it has a good 80's (motley crue, ozzy, van halenish) sound i may be inclined to buy it but theres just no info on it,the site those pics are from is just about repairing it...i may try to go test it but its hard to get over to the shop,i'd rather i have some idea of its tone before i go back

hmm, when I see that "Hi" "Low" inputs my guess is that its a high-gain monster. But it might be the "bright" gain types like Peavey XXX or maybe JSX. Just a guess. yeah give it a try if you can. tone is subjective. you may like it, I might not.

like i said a person that goes by zeegler bought 2 4x12 cabs, and he said they were awesome, they would look awesome with that.

              Found a couple reviews on a JG2 but not a JG3.

                .

yep i'm from the ESP forums over there i'm bodom578 (since i'm not a big bodom fan anymore i decided not to stick with that) thanks for theposts so far, i saw the reviews on the JG2but i don't know how similer the 2 are. i guess i'll have to get over tto the shop sometime. when i looked at it before i could tell it had not been taken care of for a while, how much do you think the tone will change if the tubes were replaced and what not (i'm no expert of tube amps)

The Jackson amps were never touted by many people as being anything too special. I can't imagine High Gain Monster would have ever been mentioned in the same sentence really.

Cool name on it, but the amps/preamps I've played that said Jackson on it were never anything too impressive.
