I liked the vintage sound of the Mayer one best, but the CI was very modern, very smooth, probably a better Octavia than the Mayer.

I wish more people did this sort of recording with pedals. Would make life a lot easier. I don't have the time to rummage around looking for decent sounding pedals, and that's why I always end up paying up for the one that "most" people say sounds best. Time is money.
