  • Well...im dickin around with a Line6 Podxt pro at my house

Of course out of 4 GC's in Arizona...no one had a boxed up one!!
The manager told me..."But we have to a display model"...
I then said..."but wouldnt it be better to have the more expensive
gear UNTOUCHED by 13 yr old punks 20 times a day??
I have the floor model at home trying it out... and it was only
in the rack for 3 weeks, yet in that short time, has scratches all
over the LED screen! So enough of the GC rant, but i hate that
kids who wont ever spend any real dough are allowed to bang away
on $5500 Taylors, and Martins... so that if you want this gear, its
    already in 75% used condition!
At first i could not get any "Balls" or low end out of this pro. Then
i noticed that i could twist the left knob, and get into the Sub EQ
and other parts of the parameters. "Why not just consult the Manual??
Because in 3 short weeks, they managed to lose the box, and manuals!!
So im having a new shipped to my door, and i can return this one,
given what i can figure out on my own? Would it be too rediculous to
have my Boss GT-8 in the signal path also? Couldnt i boost the signal
    loss to compensate?
The EVH presets are spot on in my opinion! At least in headphones.
I'll be putting together my CS200 Peavey rack stereo amp, thru 2 single
12's Celestions this week, to really get a spatial idea of the effects.
Anyone combine both Boss GT and POD together into an amp?
Wish me luck...when i get the Gmajor from TC ill have total world
    domination of effects!

The manual is available for download on the Line 6 web site. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish with the POD and GT-8 together.

I have a PODxt Pro in my rack right now. It's pretty cool but I'm planning on replacing it with either a Boss GT-Pro or a Fractal Designs Axe-FX.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

Im trying to corner the market on Effects!!:ROTF:
But i was just asking out of curiosity. Really im going to
place the POD in with the rack Peavey stereo amp, with
the 2) 1X12" Celestion cabs, and probably throw in my
Roland G-30 Synth. That way my Jackson Dinky with active
pickups can just be the tech 21st century axe, and the 2
Charvels can be old school thru the GT-8 and Marshall 1/2
stack. 2 separate systems. Have i read right, that the POD
is better off thru a PA system or Keyboard amp?
