As a signal processing professional, I try to stay away from Behringer, but I needed a cheap rack tuner for home and bought one of theirs. It's really, really bad... Firstly, it's very noisy and I removed it from the signal chain, something that wasn't necessary with my old Fender rack tuner. Secondly, it reacts so slowly it's almost unusable, and it almost can't track the low frequencies at all (they should read my papers about how to do that).

Well I got the FX-600 today it's pretty much what I expected, cheap but does the job I was looking for on a budget... only real weird thing is it loses volume when I tun the level up... now I'm using a 9v adapter that I made myself with 3 prongs... maybe it doesn't have enough mA?

I can't find the specs on the Behringer pedals for the mA requirements. I really don't think that is the issues though.

When I use just one pedal it does the same exact thing... and that is @ 600mA

I guess it just boils down to you get what you pay for and I did.

I have several of their pedals. I like them but I rarely use pedals, so they only need to serve as fun toys. I like their tube screamer copy for boosting an amp, but it developed some noise. As for them stealing designs, most of the companies they borrow from also did that to some extent.

The only one I like is the Hellbabe Wah and it is built like crap. But it is cheap and I like the sound of it. I dont use it too often though... If I did it would be destroyed quickly.

Their rippoffs of the Boss Dimension-C and Vibrato are actually pretty darn good - those are expensive pedals to get the real ones. I did an A/B of their Dimension-C clone with my real one and it was hard to tell the difference. And I hate Behringer.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

wow, that IS an endorsement if there ever was one!!!!!

hmmm, i didn't know they made a dimension C rip-off. what's it called? i refuse to pay what a real one costs, and i really don't want the other effects in a GP-16 rack unit considering how crummy some of them are...

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

              and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

I agree, some of them sound good for the money. Just don't step on them or knock them around live.

hahahaha, for $38.00 i am not too worried. it will sit in a rack tray in my studio with a power supply and be used as a "special effect" only. i figure i will get a year out of it then i will replace it. i am not too rough on pedals.

Iv'e got the chorus and digital delay, they suck big time. Better saving up for something with decent quality.
