Pete; the RM100 is definetly a cool head and yes it is seriously heavy! I think my UPS tag said 76 lbs so you're close in your estimate 
The Randall head is physically larger than a Marshall/Mesa head so amp covers/cases for those won't fit. Randall makes a slip cover for it specifically which is fairly inexpensive. A road case will have to be custom ordered though.
Also, many people with MTS series amps tend not to like the Clean module. Blackface seems to be a better module for clean sounds. In fact thats the one I use myself most of the time for clean sounds.
