The new CRATE slanted GT-212S Enclosures with the chrome logo on the front.
Casters... great handles... Celestion 70 watt loaded... oh, and the
price? I walked out dropping $334.00 for both!! Including tax!
If i ordered 4 Celestion speakers, i would be out $300.00 !
I didnt think they could top my single 12" G12H's...but they do!
Im now running a Crate 2/12 for the left channel.. and a 4/12 Kustom
and the other Crate 2/12 on the right' channel about 10 feet away.
As i lay dying on the "Killin' floor! I wonder what a Stereo tube amp
will do to this combo of 8 12" celestions? VHT? Mesa?... im still not
sure yet? One thing i like about these new Crates, is that they have
3 options on the back, with a selector for 16/8/4 ohms..mono, or Stereo!
So i can add on, or just about do any combination possible in any
amp arrangement. At the price, i got one cab for free!
