if Fender has figured out how to add a "Fender clean" channel to a 5150
they may have a winner here.
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

Hell yeah man thats what I always find mising on most high gain amps. If Fender builds a high gain amp with there clean and some mean ass drive channel(which they have not to date) I would be all over it.

I gotta go check one out.

FMI ?? One...Billion...Dollars! Im sure it will be at least $2900.00
Cant make crazy profit offering a great amp to the people at a
reasonable price, now can we? :ROTF: Fender will have to leave that
up to Peavey! Can it be that much different from a 6505? I doubt it.
And where is the "Red/White/Black striped one??

You should try the Fender Supersonic head.

If you want to be able to do the fender clean/marshall mean thing convincingly, get a randall RM4 and RT2/50 setup. I can run a fender preamp into a 6L6 power section into an open back cab... AND footswitch over to a Marshall preamp into an EL34 section into a closed 4x12... AND footswitch a dual rectifier sound into an EL34 section with the sealed cab AND switch over to a Vox Top boost into an open back cab too. Or any other combination of four preamps and two types of power tubes (EL34, 6L6, KT88, KT90, KT77, 6V6, etc). I haven't been this happy with an amp in a long time. If the JVM isn't giving me gas, the new EVH sure won't.
