Any suggestions for a new amp?

well my line 6 has finally biten the dust, i can hardly get any sustain out of the insane channel so ive deicided to buy a new amp

im looking for a combo but im not too fussed
no effects are needed though reverd would be nice

we have 1,000,001 amps to suggest with your "requirements". Please be specific. And what do you mean the insane channel has no sustain? Its a SS amp. IMO it would either work, or not work. There is no "one channel is not working" deal.

I'd go with a Carvin V3 combo with Vintage 30's loaded. It costs 1200 bucks factory direct, made in the USA, GT Tubes standard. 3 channels, MIDI capable, dual effects loops, etc etc.

That can cover ANY need, regardless of style, from jazz to death metal. Trust me.

Doesn't matter reissue or the real original deal.
Either will drop the jaw to the floor.
Its a one channel dream, very basic setup and sounds stellar.
Or, you could go with Soldano's SLO.
Like the 59 Plexi, very basic setup and it sounds stellar as well.
Those are my suggestions, granted you may have to sell your first born,
but hey we have to make sacrafices like this all the time.

Mesa Boogie Stiletto Ace. I usually prefer having reverb, too, but I don't miss it with the Ace. If you need 'verb, you could patch in something in the effects loop.

and yes the insane chanel isnt working it just chops off every note i play
i play a lot of stuff but mainly stuff in the region of marty friedman and paul gilbert . i also need a nice warm clean sound for clean leads and chording

seeing as my amp just fell off the top of my cab and is working perfectly now
