These are great amps, I have the 60 watt 1x12 combo and love the thing for practice, I liked it way better then the XXX.

Yeah, my 'ol VH Trib Guitarist had the 120 head and always prefered it to my 5150s..that was some time ago.

Well, he got a much closer tone to the "classic" VH tone with it..of course.

I remember liking it back in the day..wouldn't fit my needs now. But it is a great amp for 80's metal..with plenty gain/ power on tap...epecially for the classic stuff we all still love very much.
