has anyone owned or played with a Roland Space Echo? they are now kind of a collector item these days, but Roland just came out with a new one.

Not sure if it is one trick pony. i think the first time i heard one was watching American Bandstand and the Flock of Seagulls performed "I Ran". Dick spend most of the interview asking the guitar player how he got the echo sound, and i think it was a space echo?
