ENGLs are awesome amps. My friend has a Savage and I love to use it when I'm over at his house.

I was like.. "It looks like he is talking.... Ah who cares! CRANK IT" And then you melted my laptop speakers... VERY COOL AMP. Are they hard to get in the states? I have not really looked for one since I am not in the market for one yet. But I sure would like to test one out in the future when I am ready to buy.

BTW, I am more of the Pirate Hat from Long John Silvers. Although the Crown is tight.

I still want to test the Powerball next to my Fireball. I have no idea how similar they are. I tested both on different occasions but never next to eachother. Some people say they are quite differently voiced but others say the 1st and 3rd/4th channel of the Powerball are the same as the Fireball's. My impression was that the Powerball has a smoother (like Mesa) distortion and a little deeper/darker voicing. But again, I tried them on different occasions so my ears might have played tricks on me.

I'd like to see someone who has had both for an extended period of time and make some comparisons. I have never seen the Fireball reviewed in a magazine or something and that's weird because he definately deserves attention as a great amp; not just the 'little brother' of the Powerball.
