"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

Not trying to highjack the thread but figured this might help others considering a similar setup.
Thanks.

I think your one of about 2 or 3 owners in the USA! I saw one in
Vegas, and it looked like a Brutal Serial Killer!

I have some pedals going through the front and the following through the loop: Choralflange, Guyatone MD3 Delay, T-Rex Room Mate Reverb. If I go into the serial loop without the Ebtech, the Blackface module distorts. With the Ebtech its clean again but my distortion modules and volume drop I'm about to go the GCX loop switcher route but wondering if you have any suggestions on getting these pedals to work right through the loop without degrading the tone/causing distortion? BTW, the same thing happens in th eloop of my Uberschall too.

Hi Pete; yes I'm using the serial loop. I did try swapping the in/out routing on the Ebtech. One way is too distorted and the other gives me my clean back but I lose gain on the distortion modules and volume overall.

The Soldano stuff will not get you into every type of tone and lacks channels with eq's but it does what it does the best IMO.
I would look into maybe getting a really nice tube power amp and try some different preamp setups.
The Randall RM100 stuff has peaked my interest a few times though I must say.

Hi Pete, yeah I was messing with it some more last night. If I plug a cable in/out of the loop with no pedals then its fine. Once I put the pedals through there it distorts. In fact I tried an entirely different stand alone pedal thats not on my board, just to test it, and distorted too. Eliminated cables as a problem too. We thought perhaps its the tube as well. I have new tubes on order, its time to re-tube the whole thing anyway. Already, replaced the 12AX7's in my main module, XTC, but I have to wait till the others arrive to do the rest of the amp. Hopefully its just the tube in the loop that is spanked. I'll let you know when install them. Thanks.

Pumping through stereo cabinets and set up correctly.. nothing IMHO comes even close.
If I had a crew of roadies and we were touring I would use a multi-amp set up with a Bradshaw switching system. Most likely a mix of Soldano's, Vox's and Fender Twins along with a few racks full of outboard processing controlled by the best custom Bradshaw I could get my hands on. I would probably bring 10-15 different guitars too.
But.. I'm not touring.. I have no roadies and the Vetta is the closest thing to a multi-amp footswitchable system that I ever owned. I can also take it to the gig in my Nissan Sentra!!
