new amp...... kinda......not really........ well it is for me!

I put my gear out in the yard today and cranked it. The new Framus cab is AWESOME btw. I've got high mids up to almost maximum and I'm loving the sound, eventhough I usually hate high mids in any tone.

So anyways my mate comes over with this guitar to jam, about half an hour into it my neighbour (who's like 25 yrs older) comes over and says: "awesome man!", turns out he's a guitarplayer too! He's been living next door to me for 8 years now and only now have we discovered this! I give him the story about the amp and he says: "sounds like metallica" (QED).

So anyways I'm going to check out his (blues)band pretty soon.

imo, the tech 21 tri ac is their best distortion pedal.
and believe it or not, the line 6 ax2sys nails the old school metallica tone to a t.

I love the sound of my Tri-AC, especially the Marshall tones, but I wish it had more gain without needing to put an OD pedal in front of it. The Mesa side has a little more gain, but I still wish it had even more. And the Fender side just has great clean tones all around.
