Road King Cab Vs. Recto Cab

I got a line on a Road King 3/4 closed back and I was just curious how these two cabs lined up against eachother.

both killer cabs i have a 4 12 recto cab and i find its more bassy than the RK. May be due to that fact that its completely closed back. Thats the biggest diff i hear

Nateb, which RK cab do you have? the 4X12 3/4? is that a closed 2X12 cavity and a 1/2 open 2X12 cavity?

I have a 2X12 recto horizontal and it is very focused and bassy.
I have not played a RK cab just yet, seen them and they will be in my sights pretty soon. Sounds like a cool combo where you can select the 1/2 open cavity for the clean channel and go to the closed section for a tighter sound.

My 3/4 back Bogner is certainly more open and less punchy than the Recto cab, but the Bogner is very filling and three dimensional.
