I love ENGL amps. My friend has a Savage I just love, and I swear one day I'm owning one of those things. Second would probably be Marshall, as I just love the sound of a JCM900 or 800 series amp.
It's really hard to play this game about a favorite since some people make outstandng amps that blow everything away, and they'll blow away your wallet as well. Are they your favorite manufacturers if they're taking all your money?
Well, for me, I'll go with the guys that give me the best bang for the buck, and that's those two above, and that still puts me in the $1.5k range. Put it this way, I've played a few Two Rocks recently, and I realized that some things actually live up to the hype. Those amps do. Amazing. But do they sound twice as good as the $1.5k amps? Of course not. They don't.
Voted for Mesa, just because my amp of choice is Mark IV. Close second would be VOX, because AC15 is my choice for clean/vintage tones. But I'd say that there's a lot of brands out there that make decent amps either of modern or vintage. And no one is absolutely the best. It's all up to style and personal taste.
Because I don't say it
Doesn't mean I ain't thinking it

Yeah. . .what about "Carlos Santana"? God Father of the "Boogie" he was the one whom came up with the name "Boogie", he toured the world using a MK 1combo going back to the 70's.
