JCM 800 or Engl Screamer

Both are 1X12 combo. Which one should i choose??
I Play Thrash and Shred. I use Jackson KV-MF

Well, these two aren´t that easy to compare. Sure, the Screamer isn´t as brutal as its Engl big brothers, but none the less it has alot more gain and (if I remember correctly) a more modern compressed tone than any JCM800 I´ve ever heard. You´ll need to slam the Marshall hard with an overdrive or something similar to get it to where you want it to be... but that´s THE tone of the eighties right there.

Get the JCM800 and put an Ibanez TS9 in front of it when its over driven. That should give you more then enough gain for what you're doing.

I say go with the Screamer, you'll get a clean and dirty channel, lead boost with the footswitch (I bought 2 boss FS-5L's that work with most of their amps). Even though it's a shared eq, like my Fireball and my buddies Blackmore, it is very versatile.
