I guess. I just bought a 1x12 cab made in china and its awesome both in construction and choice of materials used. Maybe its fair to say that China is the new Korea.
I just ordered my Spider Valve 112 today. Should be here in 2 weeks. Got a real good deal on it. I figure it will make a great practice amp to carry back and forth in stead of a half stack.
I've seen it on many catalogs...ground and lift. Arent those what the small switch at the back of the combo say? What do those mean?
BTW Spiral, did you need to crank up the combo to get the sweet tones or are they already there at lower volumes to begin with? Basically, is it also a practical bedroom-amp option?
Fuck yeah, this amp is a practical bedroom amp! thats why I want it!
I actually plan on getting the 1x12 for the room, I might even get the one we got at the store and be the first test dummy!, I use my Uber now for bedroom and gigs/rehearsal, so this might just replace using that and I cna keep that amp cased and ready to go at all times with my rack.
I would not hesitate to use it for my demo/cd sessions that will be coming up in december

it's Line 6, so you knew the answer to this already...
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives
I called GC today to ask them if they has a SV in stock and the salesman there said a Spider what? haha he had no idea that Line 6 had a tube amp in the line and he's one of the managers there. Pretty bad when the people that work there can't even keep up with new gear coming out. Anyway.....
SweetWater Sound has them in stock ready to ship for 629.00 but I'll wait 2 weeks as I got mine for 525.00

How'd you get the better price? PM me if you don't want it on the board.

Maybe line6 should have named it "Spider tube". Probably it will register better. :ROTF:
I once went to an authorized Peavey dealer and a couple of sales people there did not know what a 6505 was. :ROTF::ROTF:
As a GC spokesperson. The Spider Valves are loaded into the system. They should start shipping to us soon. It seems whenever Line 6 comes out with something new. They ship us an initial order. Then we run out and can't get any for months. So im hoping they're building a stock pile of these for us so we don't run out. Cus yeah I just might want one.. lol And with my employee discount WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!! It might be worth givin up my crate VFX for.
But we shall see once they get in stock. Which i hope is soon.
