Thank you. I am getting anxious myself. Just heard from Jeff that the capcitor is bad, so another few days delay waiting for a new one. Sucks.

Pete, I just talked to him. He said he thinks it is the capacitor that is under the board. (he was using specific terms to describe, but I am no electronics guy) Either a wiring glitch or bad part. As far as the resistors go, he told me he tested all of them to make sure they were good and the right values, because he has found some in the past that were wrong.

He is pulling the board now to take a look in there. As soon as I hear something, I'll fill you in.

Thanks Chris. You'll be one of the first to hear and play it.

Thanks, Zeegs. One matching cab? Ah, let's make it two for the full effect.

Here are the latest batch of pics. I talked to Jeff last night and he said that some fo the resistors he was sent were the wrong value. The package was marked the right value, but he tests everything to be sure and they were wrong. Good thing he checks. He is guessing that I will have this amp on Thursday.

Any way, on to the pics.

You really do not have to plan ahead. I mean, we have a couple ideas in mind, but I really want to use the amp "as is" for a while and get to know it a bit. This way, if need be, I could also bounce ideas off Pete before we go in and start replacing parts and stuff.

I think it would be easier if I just brought the head up to you. I could come up after work one of these Saturdays.
