John - have you played the V3? What are your thoughts? I like the fact that it's midi programmable, but I haven't heard one and prefer not to order and reship.

Its a great amp Pete. From high gain Marshall to Mesa. It does it all. 2 smart loops, cabinet voiced out, 50w/100w switch, switchable bias, 3 completely independent channels, many switchable EQ functions too and the same boost feature as the new Rectifiers have.
We rehearsed with it today for the first time for 3 hours. Its killer. If I needed an amp I would buy one in an instant. I still use my Vetta. This is my bandmates. He demo'd alot of amps. The V3 is by far the best one we have heard in a long time. Tight, focused and extremely versatile. The smart loops are a fantastic feature that was carried over from the Quad X. Also... its built like a tank. Carvin's build quality is really excellent.
He got the FS44 switch which changes between the 3 channels along with being able to bypass the loops. If you add the FS22 switch you can also get volume boost in any channel.
Its a $1000.00 amp that sounds like a $2500.00 amp.

                i think so !

one thing's for sure, i'm digging it!!! even through my mode four bottom, it sounds amazing.

had to go to my old faithful SD-1 and rip out some leads through it.

the clean is diamond sharp! very surprising as most tube amps that i can remember, always had some slight break up.

i'm VERY happy with it. didn't try the gt-6 through it yet, we'll work on that next.

jgcable, thanks for the kind words, hehe, not sure when it became 3-4 channels.
