so after askin' around a bit, and plucking on some diff amps, I decided to go with the original vox ac15, I don't know what it is, just something about it grabbed out at me...boy that is some sweet tone!!! and i'm rather impressed at how well it takes different effects and things. Just thought i'd share my new found respect for the AC series amps, happy playing to all!
