  • Suggestion for a combo amp

I have a Crate GT1200H and I don't like the sound. I really don't "crank" her up because of the neighbors so I'm looking for a small combo amp. So suggest away..

the Roland Cubes are also very good
how much you looking to spend?
the JSX combos sound great at low volumes but are pricier.
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

ValveKing is still pretty loud - if I'm playing it at home I never turn it up past 1.

Those are very good-sounding amps. And they can get pretty loud if you want them to.

If he couldn't crank up a SS crate because of neighbors, why would anyone suggest a tube amp?

Correct me if I'm wrong, Jet, but what you're looking for is what is commonly called a "bedroom amp" on here. Which would be a smaller (30 watt max) modelling amp - Vox, Roland cube, or Spider.
