What amp would you buy??? I'm in the market, lookin for a half stack with the ability to go to a full stack... Used Mesa, marshall??? Would you sacrifice buying new more inexpensive equipment for something higher quality off of fleabay... Keep in mind, it won't be used to gig for a while... Until my skill level is where in needs to be.... This amp will be use for 80's heavy metal and such..

Find a used Marshall 1987X and get a 4x12 with greenbacks. You can probably get the whole shabang for around 15 to 1800 $.Comment
