i turned it on, turned it up, and I'm hearing this weird radio station about Jesus or something. It's weird. The amp is only connected to an AC outlet and my guitar, no pedals or anything. How is this even possible, explanation?

it doesn't have to be a bad cable. even a good cable can sometimes pickup radio stations. it just starts acting like an antenna.Last edited by Dreamland_Rebel; 11-24-2007, 08:03 PM.

I've had my Randall RM100 do this at practice too. I found that if I disconnected my cable to the footswitch for the amp, it quieted down most of the radio signal. The Randall RM100 uses a midi cable to connect the footswitch to the amp and apparently that can act as an antenna as mentioned earlier. Never had it do this at a gig though, just at practice.Rudy
