    +1. I had a Carvin FET once that nearly gave me a hernia lugging around. Although I also had a Mosvalve that wasn't heavy at all in comparison.

      I'm looking at a Carvin TS100 it's only 25 lbs and has shiny chrome!

        That is not one I would recommend. I had one. It's too "hi-fi" for a guitar rig IMO - at least with a tube preamp. If you used a modeling preamp like a POD or GTPro it would be very good.
        I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

          I'm using a Digitech GSP1101 - their new digital modeler do-everything-machine.

          At first I'm even going to be using an SS poweramp until I can buy the Carvin. I have a Behringer A500 that I normally use to power my stereo speakers which will be my temporary guitar poweramp. 500W bridged mono into 8 Ohms!
