Line 6 Spider II and IIIs and Roland Micro Cubes seem to be the pick of the litter in all JCF practice/bedroom amp threads!!
Ya can't go wrong with either.."Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"

Roland Micro Cube +3

The really nice part is that with battery power it can be moved around without having to keep unplugging it. I did try a 15w spider3 and found the sounds from the cube to be much better IMO.

I don't see what's confusing about this:
The Global website of Roland Corporation, a leading manufacturer and distributor of electronic musical instruments, including keyboards and synthesizers, guitar products, electronic percussion, digital recording equipment, amplifiers, audio processors, and multimedia products.
It's like 6 knobs, they're labeled clearly, and it sounds good. If you prefer Line 6 or Vox, great, but we're talking about a starter amp. Knob layout shouldn't be at the top of the reasons not to buy an amp...Especially when it's not even an issue.Dreaded Silence - Boston Melancholic Metal
