Just replaced my BBE Boosta Grande with the LPB. G-C had it on sale for 29 bucks. Took a small risk and must say this pedal really delivers. It takes the sound man out of the formula. You know when you are blistering out a solo and the sound guy is picking his nose. So now I just stomp on this little guy and peg his input meter. HEHEHE Check it out. GC had it on sale here. Well worth the money. And NO.....I dont work for Guitar Center. HEHE

Is that the regular LPB or is it the one with the 12AX7 in it? Long ago I used 2 LPB-2s for crunch and lead gain stages. Worked pretty well in the mid-70s anyway.....

You have yours in th effects loop don't you Mike? I was down at Mike's when his band was practicing the other night, yeah, it'll make the solos stand out!

I gotta say Mike gets a killer sound out of his Super Sonic head through a Marshall 1960 cab too.

$29, I'll have to go by GC, even if they aren't still on sale I can probably talk one of the guys into selling me one for that...
