Oh my bad!! So what, they make $14 a day? with no benefits and im sure they are working 14 hours a day.
Quoted from the Saldano website-- MADE IN USA (SEATTLE)
"Things were made to last and there was certain pride in craftsmanship. That pride in craftsmanship is still alive and well here at Soldano Custom Amplification. And, in a time when more and more manufacturers are sadly succumbing to the lure of quick profits promised by the ’new economy’ and ’planned obsolescence’, I flatly refuse to go there. As I see it, the model for this ’new economy’ is all about image and hype, and all too often product quality is compromised so that more money and effort can be pumped into the marketing machine."
From Bogners site. Not Made in Mexico. Even Ed used Bogner.
" Eddie Van Halen entrusted Reinhold to overhaul and revitalize Eddies #1 Marshall Plexi, Eddie was pleased. BOGNER AMPLIFICATION was born."
Im not 100% sure but the other boutique amps are made in USA arent they? Im sure they are paying ther people $1 an hr either. People like EVH and Fender executives love Nafta. Remember EVH left Kramer because they were using foreign labor. I guess he is over that huh??

[quote=beachjammer;1037020]I'm kinda biased on the Mexico subject since I'm loosing my job to that place so I'm gonna keep my mouth shut on **************
Well... gotta chime in with this update... Tube trouble in EVH land!
We have had preamp tube failure...in ALL 3 EVH III's ! Sure fixed
locally in about a week...but that aint good IMO. On a $1900.00 Head.
I paid $1100 for my VHT 2/90/2 and my personal feelings are that
the VHT is twice the EVH amp in build quality. Dont get me wrong..the
EVH sounds awesome, but trouble in the first 4 months does not make
for a warm and fuzzy feeling about when the warranty runs out!!
** But then 2 months later, i lose a KT-88 in my VHT so what the
hell do i know !!Last edited by Robert Burns; 01-28-2008, 05:34 PM.
