  • When i do tackle changing my own KT-88's in my VHT

Do you just slip this heavy spring retainers over the tubes, and then just
let them hang off to the side? Or should i remove them from the clips
below on the base? (im getting new ones from VHT...and i'll be changing
out both KT'88's on my "B" side of the 2/90/2 rack amp. Any advice?

i had an amp with those kind of holders and i just slipped them off to the side. i left the base connected.
    GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

    and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

I've got one of those on my THD Univalve head. Like Mark, I'll also just push it to the side when changing tubes. Though, the Uni is self-biasing, so I can change to pretty much any power tube I want, and sometimes I'll just take the retainer off and throw it in a drawer if I'm using a smaller tube that it won't fit on.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
