  • Need advise on wireles guitar set up

    Peace People,

I was looking into a Samson Airline Guitar System, but i was also wondering if 2 styled jacks (Fender and Gibson) where possible with he same unit, like in case you break a string on stage you simply switch guitars.
Can anyone advise if this is possible or even find it practicle, i asked a dealer in Spain where i am recording and he says i can only get it made custom order new from Samson and if i only get the one unit its not possible.

Someone else told me Samson or any Tech can tune a few extra "F or G style" jacks i want to the AP1 receiver later since they need there frequencies changed from country to country anyway or replace broken down jacks.

Has anyone done this or used Samson Airline guitar set ups before here? please let me know

this jack been the fender JACKSON etc,

I've heard from people that use the 'bug' styles that they were disappointed in their operation when I did my research. check out http://reviews.harmony-central.com/

I've got a sunnheiser D1000 and I love it. Does not effect my tone that much and for the little bit it does, it's for the better.

a few years ago i used an AKG wireless "guitar bug" system for two live gigs....worked fine for me - and i move around a LOT.

just got me a cheapo t.bone wireless...99€ (got no money right now ) sure, there IS a difference in sound, but hell, live nobody's gonna notice anyway, and as i said, i move around a lot, so using a cable doesn't really work out that well. at least there are no dropouts like with the vhf (diversity) wireless i used to use a few years ago. other than the sound difference (less high end, more noise) it works perfectly fine.

the sennheiser evolution series it top notch. with 30 different UHF frequencies to choose from and a website with all the major TV broadcasting frequencies devided by state so you can garrantee a clean channel no matter where you're playing. if you need one for the road its the one to get.

I know this tech who worked for Yngwie and he said that these little Samson unites work fine but are tuned to certain countries if you buy them pro sumer, but veryeasy to plug into a strat or Jackson and lite.

I used a AKG and it sounded really great, no difference in sound, in fact it brought out some of the guitar as well a bit like if the direct signal had a pre.
