Hmmm, my setup has changed since this thread was last unearthed. Now running a Line 6 Spider Valve HD100 into Carvin Legacy 2x12". Has served me extremely well sound-wise for covers gigs and metal tones alike. Although the hardware is a bit cheap and one or two of the knobs on the amp have started to crack.

For Me its a 3tm ADA MP1 ->gmajor -> BBE into a Rocktron Velocity 300 or 5150 head all this drives a couple of mesa boogie cabinets one stilleto straight and one rectifier slant.
I keep trying but I cant remove myself from my ADA. I had one since high school (80's).

I play a style described as Dream theater hanging out at a Maiden concert

Guitar plugs into Lexicon G2, splits signal to VHT Sig X and Guitar Rig 3. FX Send from the Sig X to the return on the Lexicon. The G2 and Guitar Rig feed into Rane mixer. The Rane mixer feeds to the return on the VHT attached to a Deliverance 4x12 and a satellite Peavey attached to an open back EV 1x12. Big sounds!

I'm considering going to a ground control and pedals setup as the trusted Lexi has become a tempermental dinosaur. Still love that unit for the true bypass and digitally controlled analog gain and compression, though.

I have neighbors and a family so I had to be creative.

An old USA Fender hotRod Deluxe that i loaded with a "pair of the JJ 6V6's to drop the output and get an earlier breakup along with three hand picked high gain ECC83S's with one of them being balanced for the phase inverter in V3." and the bias setting is pushed to the limit, powering a celestion classic lead 80, sitting on an extension cab with 2 12" celestion V30's

I'm still a sucker for stomp boxes but can get by with just 3. The Boss CS-3, MT-2 and the DD-6 through the FX loop

For the real heavy stuff I use my Rectoverb head,
for everything else I use my JSX. (I use that for the heavy stuff too)
I'm looking into picking up a Mark III or a Mark IV as well.
                        Life is good.

                        got a couple of 7's

                        and a couple of 6's
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

That's right Shawn. Most people like Floyds on their guitars. Not me, I put one on top of my amp, it works...and I installed in a toaster tray for pop tarts.

Wassup Nick, where you been hiding.
