I just purchased one of these pedals to give me a good warm and natural overdrive sound. I play through my JSX at home but needed something else for the clean channel and to play through the p.a. at church that wasn't over the top. I have been using a TS9 for about 2 years but I've grown weary of it's tone. I was looking for something to get me into the newer realm of Andy Timmons, etc. I walked into a local store and was introduced to this pedal for the first time this week. I plugged it in and was AMAZED! It is SOOOOOO warm and thick! It does a nice job on top of the crunch channel too of the JSX. It's very transparent and yet still gives it a nice amount of gain. It has two seperate gain stages which effect two different EQ ranges, so it's extremely versatile.
