I could take a shit and put it in a $20.00 box with a pretty little bow and it's still be a box of shit.

Great for a metallica coverband.
Hey, why not put a tube screamer in it, like Marshall placed a EQ in their Kerry King signature.www.myspace.com/demonboundmusic

I'm telling you guys, forget Kirk and that sig amp and just get a regular Randall RM100 then go to town with your choice of various modules, including the KH ones. It really is a nice sounding amp!Rudy

RD; Thats hilarious! A friend of mine is a tech and right now has a Randall solid state head on his bench for repair that is driving him nuts. I'll give this picture to him, awesome timing :ROTF:
On a more serious note, the RM 100 tube head is basically an Egnater and lots of really cool features especially for gigging musicians.Rudy

Is it true though that amp techs who work well with tube amps don't necessarily know jack about SS? I sent my old Laney Tubefusion 2x12" to get fixed by a reputable local amp tech, everyone who sent tube amps to him had nothing but praise for him, but he couldn't bloody manage to fix mine... A real pity, it was the best damn hybrid amp I've ever played for the price, but those reliability/repair issues have kept me from acquiring another one
