  • GT PRO...How do I hook it up?

I got a good deal on a Boss GT Pro and the FC 300 controller. At the moment I'm running it through the Marshall I've been loaned (until I get my 5150 lll back) but can only seem to get it working using the Marshall's power amp; no response from the Marshall's controls. I've tried so many different ways of hooking it up that I've confused myself.

I want to get the GT Pro ready for when my 5150 comes back next week so I need help...in a simple, photographic way...

Can anyone please post photo's or diagrams of their hooked up GT as I've found reading to be tiresome...

Not a picture but this is a good description of the four-cable method.

    Very easy setup.

    Here's a picture.

OK, the above image is the back of my GT Pro...could someone please tell me how to hook this up. I appreciate the links Jack Napalm, but I'm still unable to get it working properly. Photoshop and draw all over it if you like, just let me know what cable goes from where to where...

If i can remember from when i had my DSL../GT-8

Guitar into back of your GT-pro.."Input".. leave the
GT-pro's "Main Out" (L/Mono Output) and go "Into" the front
of the Marshall's normal guitar input.. then leave the "Send"
in the back of the Marshall's "send" effects loop...back to the
"Pre Loop's "Return"..of the GT-pro... Then take a cable from
the "Send" of the GT' Pro's "Pre-Loop"...and go back to the "Return"
input in the back of the DSL'... I think this should work...(dont forget
to push that small black button on the "Effects" at the back of the DSL!
If nothing happens...then like "Rosanna, Rosanna danna said..."Never mind!
