How about a Boss GT-3? 24 bit, great tone, and works well in an effects loop. I'm sure you can find one used for cheap. I got mine back in '98 and still use it. I have a GNX4, but would use that for recording, not for playing through an amp.
    The Guitars:
Jackson USA SL2H, Jackson Performer PS-4, Gibson Les Paul Studio Gothic, Ibanez JS-1000, B.C. Rich Mockingbird ST, Martin GPCPA5 Acoustic, 14 Warmoth customs, Ibanez Artcore AS73, Ibanez Prestige SR1000EFM Bass
    The Amps:
Peavey JSX 212 with JSX 412 cabinet, Ampeg B2R with Ampeg Portaflex PF210HE cabinet

Hell you can get a Digitech 2101 pretty cheap, didn't PC actually play one of those?

        Depends on which album.
He changed his gear for every album/tour.
But yea, I do recall him using one.

Well I scored a GSP21 for $75. For that price I'll give it a whirl and see what happens. Couldn't hurt.

Anybody else hear that Randall will be putting out Phil Collen modules for their MTS amps?

Either a POD or a cheap Digitech. Great functionality and sound for the money.

+ 1 on the POD but make it an X3 Live - 4 cabled into your tube amp. This is no "toy" Spider Valve hooey ... Sit back and watch the world crumble ...
