in the uk its about £105 and that’s pretty cheap. I have a 1984 laney linebacker 50 for the house and its horrid. The big question is it any good. I’m going to have a look at the weekend, just wondering so i don’t get my hopes up.

It's OK. I have one. I played it at the store and really liked the cleans. Sold my Roland Cube 30 locally and put that dough toward the champ.

I wish I hadn't.

I only did it because the Champ takes boost pedals well, so if you're into using overdrives, boosts and fuzz pedals, the Champ is the way to go. If not, I would look at a Cube 30.

By the way, I switched out the preamp tube on the Champ and also the speaker to a Weber. It helped quite a bit.
