GT8 to PC via Midi

I'm looking to hook up my GT8 to my PC to primarily use the GT8 Editor. Is anyone else doing this, if so what hardware are you sung for the Midi connectors etc?

I'm thinking of getting a new soundcard that had Midi connectors, and thought it might be worth having a look at getting some more PC based software for extending the MIDI capabilities.

I'm using an M-Audio Uno USB to MIDI interface.

yeah, just get the M-Audio cable and you're set.

I'm using a "EMU" USB midi cable. It is very similar to the one posted above.

Yup, my original post probably sounds a bit wrong, but hooking the GT8 up is mainly the starter for 10, I'm trying to reduce the amount of time fiddling with all the controls on the GT8. I'd rather tweak using the PC and patch them in.

Anything after that is a nice bonus.

yes, that and the fact that you can back up all your patches, is a definite bonus. Also, you can share and use other's patches instead of dialing them all in.
