Marshall 2204s versus Marshall 2204

I'm sure most of you have heard of the Marshall 2204s which is supposed to be the full blown Marshall 2204 but in a "small box" cabinet. Has anyone had both to compare to see if they really are the same amp but in different packaging?

I've never seen one in person, but the 2204S has the same schematic as the standard 2204. It's just the old-style small box. (Early 50W Marshalls were all small box, while 100W Marshalls were large box.) I have owned the 2553 which is the small box version of the 2550 - the Silver Jubilees. They're identical.

Identical. Well. Every marshall is a bit different but you get the idea.
