Are these anything special? I saw one at a shop yesterday for $99, but it wasn't hooked up and I didn't have time to try it out anyway. The reviews on Harmony Central are mostly very favorable, and the combination of built-in Hush and a (supposedly) footswitchable effects loop are of particular interest to me. I don't mind that it's not tube. The shop is just far enough away that I probably wouldn't drive up there just to try out a used preamp that I don't really need, but if I could switch channels and turn the loop on/off via a standard 1/4" footswitch, and of course if these aren't known to be junk, I might make the trip back up there.
